On our way

My mom and I are sitting in the airport waiting to board our first flight and figure out this whole blogging thing.  Neither of us have any clue how to start a blog, so hopefully this works!
Its 7pm on Monday April 28th, and our first flight is to Washington DC, then to Istanbul Turkey and finally to Kilimanjaro. We arrive on Wednesday May 30th at 1:10 am (with the time difference, they are 7 hours ahead).  It works out to about 18.5 hours of flying and 23 hours of traveling.

Our final destination is Arusha Tanzania where we will be volunteering!
